I'm not the dumbest player here!

That would be my fellow American whom I just beat in two five-minute blitz games.  He's rated slightly higher than I am (I'm 1195 now, woo-hoo!), and with about two minutes to go in the second one, he said "I reported you, cheater" and then blocked chat.  First of all, using an engine during a five minute game is problematic due to the time constraints, and second of all, I ought to be able to find an engine for my games that can play stronger than 1195.  Is this something that having an Amazon Prime membership would help me gain access?

That's an issue with low ratef players. Beginners know they are terrible players.

At some level, around 1800 USCF a player has enough positional and tactical knowlege that they can get a feel if their opponent might be using a chess engine. They know if they're using a new line of play and they get smoked like a cheap cigar, it's not the opponent cheating, but just dropping a wicked combo because they didn't study enough.

But the mid range players, 1200's to the 1700's are more likely to convince themeselves that their opponent used a chess engine to find a crushing two move tactic.
