I’m on a 6 game losing streak. please help. I feel depressed

It's because you care too much, focus on one move at a time, make the best move you can for each move, loosen up, have a memory like a goldfish,

Yeah I'm gonna do this. Thanks for the advice very much. Just took a warm shower and gonna stop thinking chess for a while!

True. Really appreciate your advice. Gonna try this after I'm done with my vacation off chess

I went from 1650 to 1550 in bullet today...that should motivate you
I went from 1040 to 895 in bullet. It was so bad that I just quit bullet for good.

OP you shouldn't feel bad. You play much better than I ever will - maybe do something else you enjoy for a few days to recharge your mind, and return to the chess board, fresh. Just a thought.

Playing for a win is the natural response, especially after several losses, but playing to improve is even better, ask yourself, what are you doing to improve. .....

No you shouldn't
Such rating drops in bullet are quite common
Don't get tilted so soon
Hmm alright

I think you need to re-frame how you look at winning and losing. For example, another way of looking at it is that you are on a 6-in-a-row learning streak! Ultimately you will emerge a better player not because of your wins, but because of the games you LOST and learned lessons from. So pat yourself on the back and celebrate each loss as a learning opportunity that will contribute towards you being a better player ultimately.

Yeah true. Thank you for the motivating words

You can try the 2 minute bullet with increment and then go to 1 min
Bullet doesn't feel like real chess to me. You are 1600 in bullet so you guys actually do something in bullet. Here in the 900-1000 bullet, it's just about flagging the other person without getting mated. Doesn't give the feel of playing chess

Win.
If only I could...
I'm curious what are you doing to improve? You didn't answer me?

Well, If I am honest, I haven't done anything. I used to watch a lot of yt vids on how to play, tactics and all that when I was 500-800. But at this 1300 level, I don't find anything useful. Everyone just says grab center, good openings and bla-bla. I play London and pric all the time cuz at this level nobody knows theory and I'm just clueless after move 2 if I wanna play theoretical openings. Right now, My strategy is to just keep playing and hope to improve. Do u have any suggestions for me?
