I'm Stuck

Sometimes it’s helpful having folks look at your games and tell you “you need to play longer periods, build up a repeating pattern of blunder checks, etc”

Also had someone play daily unrated with me that is helping

My tips:
1) Before you make a move (Even if its to obvious for example a taking a free piece) play the moves that your oponent could play in your head (how could they respond) If there are any checks, captures, or maybe they can attack you in some way.

2) Don't exchange your pieces everytime. If you have the advantage because you have a large attack on his king and then he offers to trade pieces in my opinion you shouldn't accept the trade, because it will reduce the amount of pieces that are attacking or pressuring his king.

3) Take a break from chess. I did this like for 3 or 4 months because I was getting stressed of chess for not improving, I got stuck in this elo too.

I hope this can help you!

I didn't need a coach to improve at chess so I don't think that it is necessary for you to get a coach right now.

I'm 13 so if there are any mistakes in writing I'm sorry!

Also I'm not a native speaker and I'm not using any translator here, lol.

Take care, bye!

Sounds like you need someone to sit down with you and explain your games properly, should considerer putting the money into a chess coach. Maybe also play blitz to develop good insticts, you will lose alot but the losses help if you go over each move, for example, looked at one of your recent losses against the fried liver, first 7 moves were all top engine moves, 8th move you should have kicked the knight away with h6 then again with e4, that makes white lose tempo and puts you into a better position, there are traps against it but that's only suitable for speed chess.

In the Fried Liver Attack the Knight is sacrificed on move 6 with Nxf7.

Without this sac there is no Fried Liver Attack.

How exactly do you kick a Knight that has been sacrificed?

Funny, this got a down wote. Someone on these forums does not like facts.

dont push it, if you couldn't pass 1100 in ten years, don't get your hopes up for the future.

be realistic, this is not your thing then.. play it for fun.

There are many who would not wish to agree with what I am about to say, but just as many who do!!? If you have only ever play Rapid play chess then your chess playing ability is likely to never reach a respectable level, you have to serve a chess apprenticeship through both classical play as well as the quicker time limits to become a decent overall player. We had one such player at our club when it came to playing a classical game in the area league 1hour 20 minutes on the clock he would lose 60% of his games over the season because he only knew one way to play ...make a move every 1.min all his opponent needed to do was use his time and out calculate him over the board, used to tell him slow down a little he knew no other way to play so was never going to improve his game?!!
