I've been playing chess since I was a little boy, now I'm 14 years old. I know how top play chess but always lose in any local game, even play with the computer. I don't know a strategy or tactics about chess. Just a little bit. If you guys know on how to make me a really good chess player, give any tips or which book about chess I have to read, please share. Chess is my favourite game in the world. It's top of the list in my life. Help me to be an expert. Thank you

Some would consider a 14 year old to still be a little boy Cool

Have fun while playing. Get your hands on as much tactical problems as you can, tactics tactics and then some more. It's fun and it will help you improve. Also. try to get some friends to play chess with you or try to befriend some people that play chess

Start playing as much as you can.  Online makes that pretty easy.  Get a membership, and do 25 tactics problems per day (minimum), trying your best and not just giving up.  Then systematically go through each computer workout exercise.  Again trying hard to understand it, not becoming frusturated and giving up.   Pick an opening you like, preferably something that starts with e4, and play it every time for a year.  After doing this, you will be much better.  Next step, keep up with puzzels and tactics, then start diving deep into the study of a select group of opening systems (white AND BLACK)

Pace yourself and you can keep up with it, dont get discouraged.
