Principles aren't more important than money in business.

you have your opinion and i have mine. your opinion is that business decisions should be based on financial considerations (money) above all else, and my opinion is that decisions (not just business decisions, but all decisions in general) should be based more on principles (what people believe is the right thing to do, versus the wrong thing to do).

more on principles = in other words, money considerations should not be thrown out the window - that's not what i'm suggesting at all, and i apologize if i gave that impression - but what i am saying is that right and wrong should be the main consideration, with finances as a secondary consideration.

Ask Erik's employees if they would be happy receiving half their salary in 'principles'.

What players are watched for cheating? All of them, or just players above a certain rating? If it was the latter, it would explain a lot...

They're watching you right now.Laughing

A different perspective?  Does it encompass the necessity for organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous and other rehab organizations, dui fatalities, domestic violence, etc.  Thankyou for your Godly and  altruistic works angel for the needy.

That's just plain silly. The vast majority of people who drink have none of these issues.

Thank you to the angels who have brought this wonderful drink into our lives.Laughing

If you can't control yourself then don't drink. The fault, dear Yaroslavl, is not in our angels, but in ourselvesWink

Pretty sure people who get in trouble with the law, destroy their bodies, and beat their spouses would be miserable jerks with or without alcohol.

+1

My stepfather didn't drink, but had no problem beating the shit out of me on a regular basis.

Ah!, control.  My favorite word in the vocabulary of all humans.  A delusional state of mind given a tiny little factor labeled infinity.

The word "responsibility", as in "taking personal responsibility", seems to be absent from your lexicon?

I believe he is a cynic. If so, then these words may only be targets for his cyniciysm.

I almost certain the correct spelling of the word is:  cynicism

Perhaps so, I will have to consult my dictionary in the morning.

But, more importantly, is it true?Laughing

Can I chime in here?   Chess.com is not vindictive. I don't think they would pursue a lawsuit even if it was a slam dunk. They just want you off the site,PERIOD.  In Vegas when you cheat at cards, the casino just throws you out. The're not interested in pursuing lawsuits.

I'l just chime in here, and participate in  every type of fuzzy thinking that I read in these forums.

Am I a cynic?  No, I believe that I am more like you.  A poster child for the hate stylist enquirer.
