Do our ratings on chess.com actually represent our real rating if we are really assessed by FIDE?

Sorry for my bad english.

FIDE rates slow games only (>= 2 hrs/game).

Here, we play either quicker (live chess), or slower (online chess).

So the ratings aren't comparable.

As far as I know, FIDE introduced blitz and rapid ratings not so long ago.

Strangely, it also differs where you live. Since the elo score depends on your results when playing, it has been proven that there are significant differences between different pools of players. Only international games should correct this, but there are not enough of them. One of the remarkable things was that in russia you get a high score much more easy than in europe.

Your actual FIDE rating should be higher than your Live ratings, unless your live ratings stem from skills as a mouse whisperer in which case it will be lower. Your FIDE rating should be higher than your Online rating, unless you play too many Online games at once as if they are blitz in which case it may be higher.
