improvement with subscription?

I am considering actually buying a subscription, either platinum or gold, and I am curious if you guys, those with a subscription, have had any noticeable improvement after 5-8 months of doing the tactics, lessons, daily. Or is it better to get a separate app for tactics and a book for lessons? I'm very undecided. I'm also trying to get into the 1200-1500 range without sacrificing too much time.

Improvement comes with effort. Having a premium membership and all the benefits that gives, won't do any good if a player doesn't spend sufficient time and effort utilizing those tools.
Generally speaking, endgames and tactics will probably give you the most benefit in a limited amount of time but there are no guarantees.
