Inaccuracies/Mistakes/Blunders oh my

So, I believe I have been improving. Impressive no? No.

It isn't enough, so I continue pushing...

To that end, I have noticed a recent trend in regards to accuracy. That is, my moves appear to be becoming more accurate as time goes on and yet some of the games I play against equal rated players feel difficult and both positions are on edge.

Why is this?

A recent game I played had me at 5 inaccuracies, 2 mistakes, 0 blunders in a 22 move game where my opponent forfeited. 3 of those inaccuracies were in the opening where one seriously has to question the computer analysis itself. So that leaves 2 inaccuracies, one of them bigger than the other but not quite a mistake, and two mistakes of about equal worth.

I guess my question is, after the rambling, how can one play so accurately and yet still have issues? My only assumption is my opponent was just as accurate. It is kind of a moot topic, but interesting in that if players at my level can have accurate play, than at what point does accuracy cut off in place of tactics? If I played that accurate, wouldn't I theoretically be able to beat somebody much higher rank than myself?

Or is there something of an exponential increase in accuracy related to skill level?

NOTE: Pardon my rambling. It is late here and my mind is all over the place. Also note that 'Computer Analysis' is a side tool I use simply to point out the biggest mistakes. I don't use it as my primary analysis tool. My head can handle that.

Oh yeah, I don't truly take it at it's word. I simply use it as a jumping board toward a more complete analysis. It gives me something to look out for, both leading up to the position, during, and after. Like a check list if you will.

The computer analysis at chess.com is absolute crap.  One time it gave me a variation that just hung a piece for no reason then gave the evaluation that my opponent was better, well of course!  it just hung a piece for no reason!

I'm pretty sceptical that there was no reason, can you post the line?

@Long

I think...lol, perhaps I am just too out of it. Lemme try to explain it in another fashion to be certain.

Lets say you and I face off. I play a game with 5 Inaccuracies 2 Mistakes 0 Blunders. You play and have 5 Inaccuracies 2 Mistakes 0 Blunders. You win. Over all we were both evenly matched and yet you won. At first glance it would appear something, somewhere, should begin imploding. But...and perhaps this is the most correct, the seriousness of the mistakes and the timing behind the moves change the game slightly and tip the balance.

Therefore, while we may have both been technically just as accurate, can it be assumed that because of the timing, because of the intricities related to chess, that while even, the balance was always in favor of one or another?

I think that I am, perhaps, getting into more the mathematical and philosophical realm of chess here. .....that happens when I get tired lol

You're right, I am Undecided

Believable scenario too.

Can you post a screenprint of the computer recommending it in that position?

I gotta agree. It isn't easy attempting to figure out exactly what you are talking about without more information. In short, there is quite a bit that is left out that we need to know.

This topic, oh my.I constantly have more than 40 online games. I lost count how many mistakes, inaccuracy, blunders in my games.

Sometimes I don't analyse my games at all, sometimes I analyze them for 20-30 min a move depends on how complicated a game. I like complicated games.

So, why my winnings are higher than my loses? I don't know, I just reply moves after moves. I don't care if they are accurate. The thing that I care is my opponents will make careless moves.

Well, I wanted to show one of my games, where I make mistakes after mistakes, inaccuracies after one another, yet I won. I just wonder if you want to see it.

Just to show that winning is not about accuracy, mistakes or anything else. Winning is making the right move at the right time.
