This is final state how white (= me) loses the game:

White has to move, white has advantage and 9:20s left.

From here the system (or opponent?) blocked me. It was completely impossible to do a move.

Both timers stopped, but they where both flickering.

After 10 min. searching for a solution, the system let me know that “I had Abandon the game for 10 min.” and that black won for this reason.

It was no connection problem, otherwise my timer would continue to 0, and I wouldn’t get a message that I have “Abandoned the game for 10 min.”. (I had in fact 9:20 left)

Every explanation I see is completely unacceptable:

1. There could be a way that a player can block the opponent.

2. There is a way that someone can set his game (by accident) in the “Abandon” state, without a simple possibility to recover. That an “Abandon” state exists is pointless and can only lead to cheating with time.

Can someone give an explanation so that this will never happen again?

Thank you!

Your opponent can't impact your connection.
