well, if its only 150 pts increase, its not inflated that much

In a relatively short time (maybe 1.5 month) I've increased my blitz rating from 1400 to 1550.
I'm really horribly in blitz so I'm quite happy about the result. Coincedently this in about the period I started with tactical excercises on a regular basis. So has the blitz rating been inflated a bit or have I been playing better? Just checking if I'm not being happy for no reason.
It is hard to check if my game has increased from normal games since I only play one each week. I don't play correspondace anymore because, I lose many correspondance games because I lose interest after 20 moves and play way to fast when that happens.
