1. Reset your tactics trainer. tactic trainer>customize>Reset history. This takes you to 1200.
2. Start doing tactics. Go for a 20-0 solve/fail attempt. If you get one wrong, before achieving that score, reset your tactics again.
This method I have been using, increased my rating by quite a bit. What happens during this is your mind takes "getting a problem wrong" very seriously, because you'll need to reset again. This helps eliminate tactical mistakes. And makes your tactics balanced. (ie not doing only high rated tactics, but easier ones to, so you don't miss obvious tactics).
I'm not saying this will help 100% of the people who try it, but it works for a lot of people.
