I think the idea was if black castled kingside, there could be g4 and Nf4 stuff, and the there could be a potential to attack the king on that side of the board....
You dont want to castle queenside because of potential open c-file....
But you want to connect rooks....
And the king is not under much threat on d7 in my opinion..... so Kd7...
Basically, to connect rooks, and have a safe spot for the king...
Is there a better idea?
This is probably the coolest thing I have seen in chess! 🤯
White's last move was Qh4 and they're threatening to take on f6 then on h5!
During the video course GM Avetik Grigoryan warns us that no GM could find this move and offers us to pause the video and think a little, I'm so glad that I didn't think much otherwise I wouldn't sleep at all. 😀 (btw it's 5AM for me.)
When he put the move, you can see my reaction in the notation, I'm really honest with myself. 😂
Do you know about this move? Probably you don't then I offer you to find the idea of this Kd7! 🤪
