Infuriating puzzle scoring

Does anyone else feel deflated with the puzzle scoring system? Not only are you penalised if you don't solve it in seconds, but if you get one wrong, the lost points wipes out four correct scores. I find it infuriating, and often give up on them. I know the score isn't important in a sense, if that's the case though, do away with it. It doesn't encourage me to try and learn.

I'm only interested in improving. If you're more interested in the ego feed then chess is not for you.

That is just some number yes but for some people it is a measure and motivation

Also you solve 3/4 moves and your hand is chopped off in full like you did nothing

I know, but it exposes a crutial glitch that caused me to gain 700 elo
