why do i get a draw when i have a Queen and Bishop and 1 pawn against his King.also last month i had a Rook and KING and still got a draw"insufficient material.

Because you ran out of time, you can't win without time.

As to why it is calling it insufficient material, it is your opponent's material (just a lone king) which is insufficient to checkmate you, so your opponent can't win, either.
