The Chess.com team does take reports seriously, but depending on the type of violation and how many reports they’re processing, it can sometimes take a little longer than expected for action to be taken. That said, if the message was truly inappropriate or abusive, I understand your frustration.
You could try following up directly by contacting:
🔗 support.chess.com → then click "Submit a Request" at the top-right.
Also, make sure to block the offending user so they can’t message you again in the meantime.
