After anybody plays a queen move as their 2nd move, my chess alarms go off and say that they are trying to play a quick mate and not a traditional chess game. After Qh3, it is more than obvious and black should have played any defensive move.
Interesting Checkmates
Here's my guess as to the quickest mate moving only your pawns:
And I would think that the quickest knight mate would be something like below:
The quickest knight mate could also suffice for my third question, White's shortest mate where he always moves to a square of a different color. However, I was intending for both sides to do this, not like in the other problems. So the problem is that bishop on f8 moving to e7. Bishops would of course be immobile in this problem. So the hunt is still on for a solution! Also, it's a good rejoinder to the problem to think about the shortest mate for White where both sides move only their pawns, or knights. There might not even be a solution.

I realize that, but I was showing his fastest possible checkmate, so his moves didn't have to be rational ones. And obviously, Qh3 was literally the most terrible move that White could have possibly played. This game would never (I hope) occur in real life, but it still makes for a neat solution to the puzzle.
Almost, Phriex, but we only want the knights to move, so that h3 shouldn't be there. If I may...
Other than that, I think you've found a solution to the puzzle! Nicely done, and thanks for posting!
Also, yours could actually count as an answer to the third problem. Was that why you posted it? Sorry, I thought you were putting one over me for the knight mate. Good idea to use a smothered mate like that. I guess you've solved problems two and three. Well done!
Here's a few interesting potential checkmates to peruse and ponder over. If you're playing White, what's your shortest possible checkmate: a) moving only your knights, b) moving only your pawns, or c) when you play so that every time you move a piece, it ends up on a square of a different color? If you have any answers to these questions (if they have any), or if you have any interesting checkmate questions of your own, please post them here. As a beginning, here's my solution to another question, White's shortest checkmate where Black mimics his moves on his own side:
