I was thinking about checkmates recently and how I can spot like a mate in three or four but when it gets to like mate in 9 it’s harder to spot. What is the largest possible number of moves to checkmate? For instance, is there a mate in 100? The position I created was a mate in twelve but that’s about the largest mate I can make
