It used to be available, so it's still around. Don't know why they haven't changed it and allowed it to work for Play > Computer as well.

Actually, the achievement doesn't even show anymore unless you already have it, from what I can tell. So, only people that already had it, will show it

I think there are bot accounts. Challenge them to play live chess.
