Is it true that 9 knights are worth more than 5 rooks? Once I was leaning back, humming to myself, when my opponent let out a huge fart. It blew one of my contact lenses out, and while I searched for it, blinded by the stench as much as my poor vision, all my knights fell over and I lost the game 1-0!

Is it true that 2 rooks are worth a queen and more? I remember 1 time(actually a couple times when I traded my queen off for 2 rooks. Then I decided that the game was in the bag and started humming and leaning against my chair. After a few moves however, my opponent made a series of checks and took my hanging rook and I lost. 1-0 Hers another one. I was told that the 2 minor pieces could/were worth more than a rook. So, I did it and in the endgame my opponent beat me and I lost. Now, I know that in the middle game they are better but... 1-0 Here's another one. Queen for rook and 3 pawns. So I was sitting back and relaxing after I had just made my move and then my opponent whipped a couple moves that I DID NOT UNDERSTAND and the suddenly he did the trade I told you. Then he marched his pawns and made a queen and 1-0! #5 and 10 and 25 get a trophies.
