I am quite a lean and thin person in real life who is worried of other person barks in real time in real life. I am living a very difficult life as I constantly worried of other person I am negotiating currently of their aggressiveness towards me. I had a very negative impression of bus driver and conductor or handyman relationship as a friend as they used a lot of curse word between them. But when I reach university I realised people were same as the highly educated person too used a lot of curse word between them . The one thing I realised is that the use of curse word is almost like their second nature. So for me it become very difficult to judge a person in the university. Internet has help people to hide behind the screen and live a normal life which in normal life they cannot do because of uneasiness factor.

Well said 1hey. I think the internet has gotta be the greatest invention mankind has produced so far.It allows people who wouldnt normally communicate to speak with anyone and everyone is a safe environment.And like i said,ive seen many come out there shells.But what i think its done for me,you can call me crazy,but its allowed me to really get to know people in a way i would not if i spoke to them face to face.Well,i cant explain what i mean right now,lol.Maybe i'll find the words later,but most people on here who have nothing to hide,will chat allot,and i get a good feel from where there coming from as im sure everyone else does,even more so than in talking to them in person.This is how it will change our mind-set i think.I may sound like a lunatic,but i know this will happen

I do not dislike you Seaesta. I got nothing against you except i wont allow people to listen in and not partake in banter.People ive removed havent applied to come back,which tells me they aint bothered,which in turn tells me they aint listening to our friendly chat.When i remove someone who persists in rejoining yet never comments in the notes tells me they just want to listen in which i said im not having people do.Others are to follow, youre not the only one,and many have gone before you. So dont take it personally.

I think its a good thing,and it does remind me of prison,there is no hiding place in prison, just like here,people's character shines through in time. A documentary on tv last week said drug and alcohol abuse in young people is down year on year and they think social media might be the reason..it provides an outlet day and night for talking to someone. Just a thought. Happy birthday, Rev :-)

I know some others feel as i do,but theres many who carry on with the facade,i dont think that facade will last long on here.Its only a matter of time,and then the mentality will spread to the street. Since chatting on the internet (here on this chess site only for me) i feel its awakened me,expanded my consciousness.I cant speak for anyone else,but i know the same people ive spoken to for years,my opinion,my perception of them has changed.And i have noticed certain people who wouldnt normally say boo to a goose in real life become brave,they have changed in there personality,its like the internet has taught them about people and they can relate and communicate now,where if they never had the internet,they would probably be stuck at home behind drawn curtains.I feel i can get to know people more so on the net, than if i met them face to face in real life. Do you think the internet will change the way we think,that it will change our mind-set as im sure many other inventions have also through-out history,like writing,the printing press and television to name a few.Has the internet expanded,broadened your consciousness, ask yourselves,and be honest!?
