one opening is good if it achive opening goals.
opening goals are
1_fast development
2_king safty
playing ur king e2
1_cripples development
2_ open ur king to attacks
so its bad opening
even u achived good results against low player
it wont work against top players.
good luck .
Hi everyone,
Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about openings. I used to always play the Queen’s Gambit as white because of its popularity. I thought that by sacrificing my queen in the opening I would be able to gain a strong positional advantage, but in the end I end up losing nearly every time. So I wanted to try a new opening, which would hopefully work better than the Queen’s Gambit. I considered other popular openings such as the Eagle Attack (http://www.chess.com/forum/view/fun-with-chess/the-american-defense---eagle-attack-variation), the Knight Fianchetto (http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/may-i-present-the-knight-fianchetto) and the George Lopez (or something like that), but they all seemed too commonplace, especially the first two. So I decided that I had to invent my own opening to suit my personal style. After analyzing some of the games played by my favorite chess player Napoleon Bonaparte, I incorporated some of the ideas involved in his games into this opening that I created:
So far, I’ve only had a few chances to test out this opening in actual games. In the games I played I still lost more than I won, but my overall record was much better than when I used the Queen’s Gambit. So I concluded that I lost so much because I’m still not a very good chess player overall, not because the opening is bad. In fact, the opening seems to work quite well. Every time I play it, my opponent hesitates for a second or two before making his second move, giving me a slight advantage in time. And one of my opponents even thought that I was a titled player for coming up with such an innovative and effective opening. After our game (which I lost because of blunders in the middlegame and endgame), my opponent said “gg lol,” to which I replied, “Thank you for your generous compliment! But I have to admit that at the moment I am not worthy of the title of GG. I am still a beginner, and there are many aspects of my game that I still need to improve.” However, I believe the fact that I was able to come up with this opening entirely by myself shows that I actually have great talent in chess. If I continue working hard, then I’m sure that in a few years I will rise through the ranks and become a true GG.
Now, as I continue to test my opening in actual games, I am starting to worry that some of my opponents will realize what a fantastic opening it is, and claim it for themselves. I need to make sure that when this opening eventually goes down in the books as one of the greatest openings of all time -, yes, ONE OF THE GREATEST OPENINGS OF ALL TIME, people will know that I was the one who first thought of it. So do any of you out there know how I can get this opening named after myself as soon as possible? What do I need to do?
Thank you very much!
