Nice information
IQ and FIDE rating
Totally off -- Rating = (IQ * 200) - 800 which supports Fischer's 180 IQ claim (giving him a 2800 rating) and explains why chess.com starts everyone at 1200 (corresponding to the average IQ of 100).
YOUR COMMENT IS ON GOOGLE!!
funny thing is the patterns of chess reflect a 1500-1800 elo for an average iq of 100, while people with high IQ struggle playing chess it's because chess may seem like its patterns, but it's really hard to see said patterns know you may be thinking but wouldn't higher IQ players see these patterns more quickly (the answer is yes) but high level Iq players need to study and most of the time high level IQ players struggle with something called spatial awanerss this is why high iq players could be at elos 300-700 (I dont include 800 becouse I belive 800 has hardstuck 1200-1400 in the mix.
I think this formula is nonsense.
