Is 1 min time control good or bad?

think I am done playing bullet. I feel like maybe I’ve played too many games and the restraints are affecting my overall game in a negative way. Probably not though.

Here is a game I will likely win but succumbed to the clock.

You misunderstand how 1 minute games work. White's last move Re1 was a good move because you didn't have enough time to save your queen. It doesn't matter that you can win material by capturing the rook.

Well, at the 900 level, apparently you don't premove yet, so instead of being a good move your opponent was probably just mocking you by playing Re1 (any move would have won)... but in a higher level game Re1 would be perfectly good because it's not a move you can predict.

Of course I premove! Just not Willy nilly on every move. I understand perfectly well how the clock works. Qx either a or c pawn seems winning to me (sans clock).

I am considering if I’ve played too many or too few games to abandon the time control. I just don’t know.

It’s not good if you do too much
