Magnus Carlsen got a GM at this age, so I will say 700 is not that great. However, everybody has to begin with a low rating. I would say that you should get 1200 in rapid with proper training within one year. This means: learn a lot of tactics (purchase the book “ Common Chess Patterns “ in Chessable, with 780 useful tactics), analyse your games and begin to learn a basic opening repertoire.

Man, you really comparing him to Magnus? The worlds best chess player? I don't think that's fair. It's like comparing your wednesday's art homework to da Vinci's Mona Lisa

im 13 and I play like 1600

im 10 and im 620

Note: I do belive that your age doesn’t matter for you ELO to be, say 700.

It’s just about your dedication.

If you are happy with your rating, its good

Some are grateful for what they do have, others will always strive for what they don't have, same goes for life.
