Hello, so sometimes I have trouble calculating on a unmovable board online, i was wondering if I could get my chess set and play the moves there? Thanks

Not really, but who’s gonna stop you?

I believe a physical chess board is allowed online as long as you treat it like an in-person game. That means no physically moving the pieces on the board for variations. If you treat the physical board just like a real game though (and just make the moves on the board as the online game), then it should be fine though.

Interesting is newer technology where you can connect the board to chess.com:

Incidentally, your rapid profile highlights why I don't like playing Rapid that much, page after page there's so many banned users, after about 300 games looks like around 40 cheats, over 13%

Say it ain't so!!! Cheaters on Chess.com? Come on! Burn 'em at the stake!

I’d imagine you wouldn’t be allowed a second board in an otb game, so I’d recommend you not do that for online. But again, who can stop you?

And visualization is like a muscle. If you don’t use it, you won’t improve it
