first of all, everyone is different. second, good for you but sometimes people play bad and sometimes their overrated. I have 1900 blitz, but only cuz I don't play. maybe the guys you were playing are overrated.
Point is, you can help people for free, youre not that good that you should be charging. 
and 20 bucks?!?! I done some chess classes for my friends, and I charged 1 dollar. ONE

I think you should be NM before becoming a coach

If you find 1850 fide players so easy to beat, then you should be NM by now. Me personally it's always a battle when I play them

The percentage of the people playing rapid on chess.com is pretty low and it gets lower at the higher levels . Most people play blitz and bullet here , and while bullet is 50% luck and being fast , a 3+2 blitz game is a really fair time control when talikng about chess.com ratings

If you're gonna teach someone how to do something then you've gotta be an expert

How would I know if you're any good at coaching if you've never taken your own advice

I'm sure the CM just doesn't play online much, but I'm quite a bit higher rated than him in every time control which shows we probably aren't worlds apart OTB
