Honestly in fortnite you spend too much time NOT in the action imo. Getting stuff, a good 10 seconds of battle, and usually die (and sometimes you don't).

Your comment makes me want to smack my head against a wall. Chess is a board game invented centuries ago when videogames didn't even exist. Therefore it can't be a videogame. If you were talking about online chess, then it still doesn't make any sense. How will it take hundreds of more years to create a videogame better than a somewhat repetitive game where you move a shape from a square to another square on a bigger square? There are arguably dozens of games already better. Minecraft, Terraria, and Overwatch just to name a few.
