Making a vague complaint about something you refuse a clarify is hardly an effective way to enact change.

You see posts denigrating Christianity on this forum but none defending it because they've been removed by the moderators. If chess.com didn't have a double standard, they'd remove everything associated with it or religion in general. There, now the mods can delete what I've written - read quickly!!
Psalm25, you can plainly see they didn't delete the post I quoted, which was preachy.
So you stand corrected?
Why wasnt post 13 deleted, if what you say is true?
I thought that was a requirement of those in Canada.

Well, it has to be furry, anyway.
Wrong - post 13 misrepresents Christianity (if that is what the poster was referring to.) When I pointed out that "good deeds" have nothing to do with whether someone goes to heaven or hell under Christian belief, that post was deleted as were several others that referenced what the chess.com moderator labeled "Dog" (repeating an earlier post.)
So I'm actually not wrong because post 13 has nothing to do with Christianity and misrepresents it, again if that was the faith that the poster was referring to.
Having proven that I wasn't wrong - and mentioning the dreaded "C" word - I am sure this post will be deleted but my interest is waning rapidly so I won't care:)

Once again, a majority religion is claiming persecution. Move along, folks, nothing new here.
@ Psalm25
The moderator didn't delete my post #21, for referencing "Dog".
That was me, having a little fun.
There's some nice irony to the idea of having a persecution complex on behalf of Christianity.
At worst the moderation here is inconsistent -- I seriously doubt there's a deliberate mandate out there to pick on one particular side of the religious debate that's technically disallowed here altogether.
Shouldn't matter whether it's a majority religion or not. If you don't want religion in the forums, delete all references to it. That's all I'm saying
Who, pray tell, has written a deragatory post?
Not me. If I wrote an honest opinion on the topic, (beginning with, say, the Catholic Church's sexual abuse coverup scandal), you would learn a new meaning to the phrase "deragatory", since my opinion on the whole farce is about as low as can be.
But, I will refrain. Instead, I restrict myself to cute pictures of kitty kats.

So...pwn 13....!!!!11!!!1!
Again, you assume too much. No. 1, I'm not Catholic. Second, I am as disgusted as anyone by the sexual abuse and pedophilia that was in the Catholic church (and may still be, for all I know.) And I WELCOME conversations about that, since the church should have immediately gone to the police instead of trying to handle the abuse "internally."
But just as it's unfair to judge an entire group by the actions of a few, so it is wrong to judge an entire faith by the actions of a (relative) minority. Write about the sexual abuse of children and pedophilia in the Catholic church. I have a lot to say about it as well and it's not at all in defense of how the church handled it
Playing chess isn't a waste of time. Talking about whether playing chess is a waste of time is a waste of time :)
