I was just wondering is there a record of any kind for finishing 1st place 6 tournaments in a row at the amature (0-1999) playing level field even if a couple were tied for 1st.

6 is pretty good, but most records are more insane than that.

How is it possible to win that many without your rating climbing above 2000? Were there a lot of draws at the tournament? Did you get 1st without winning every game?

I want to win a bunch of tournaments without my rating putting me in a higher class.

Did you win online tournaments, and then let your rating fall down in non-tournament games?

Here's the trick, in 5 simple steps:

1. Enter a tournament.
2. Lose every game, and consequently the tournament.
3. Silently grieve for a few days.
4. Listen to Coldplay/Radiohead/Pink Floyd.
5. Tell everybody you actually won that tournament, and 5-30 tournaments before it!

Hope this has cleared things up,
FTP.

Oh yeah, I forgot that obviously if you win that much your rating will usually get ridiculously high. Duh! Lol, why aren't you like 2000 then? Tongue out

lol, ForthePawn.

You play in your section or if you do decide to play in a section above your initial section sometimes there's still more players around your rating than there should be! the I usually win but still gve in to a couple draws and as for my rating I just gotta startplaying in a little bit higher sections asue I usually play in my own sectio where sometimes although very few I end up playing and entire Class or 2 below mines.

Toumwhat I'm saying to be the best play the best.

P.S. of the 6 there was one tounament where most of the players where Classes elow me and that was probably my easist tournamen
