I had played this match with only 1 king left, and it ended up with a draw because the opponent ran out of time

do you think it is bad to play like this?

No, it's not bad. It might eventually help teach you and your opponent something about basic endgames.

Who knows?

I see, well, I wonder if the oppobebt is mad since I only got 0.07 seconds left

It's possible but it might lead them to take a lesson on how to do a basic king and rook versus king checkmate.

I see, that makes sense, thank you for your help

Also your opponent my stalemate you if it's a queen king ending. So nothing bad at all.

Using the clock against your opponent is a perfectly legitimate strategy.

In blitz with no increment, it's fine. If there is increment, don't do it. grin.png BTW your opponent has horrible checkmating technique. If you want to learn from this game, check how to mate with a king and rook fast. Why did your opponent promote to a rook anyway?

The time were under 10 seconds when they promoted the rook, maybe they misclicked

Or the opponent was overconfident about performing the checkmate.

maybe, but they're both around 1k - 1.1k, so the time control must have been hard
