Is it considered rude to just disconnect, instead of resigning, when losing?

Resignation gives you an early release from the suffering. Disconnection, more or less, takes you one step closer to getting your account restricted..

"... early release of suffering", as mindful breathing and meditation can help. I had to comment on this, since this is also an ultimate life lesson - impermanence of everything, including anger. Once one realizes that deeply, politeness and compassion come in naturally.

anyone who disconnects against me i give them a thumbs down and report them to chess.com . its bad manners and rude if you cant win just resign at the soonest moment

I've had situations where I am winning in chess and my opponent disconnects and therefore abandons the game without resigning. I understand that some players don't want to look like sore losers who just resign without disconnecting. But it is just a game where you are supposed to be having fun while playing. its not a big deal to get a high ranking all in one day. Just take a break and disconnect from the screen.
