I don't think it's the rating. It's more the attitude.
Many players around your rating post games and questions. Sometimes they may be trolled a little, but generally they also get good advice etc.
The main forum is not that bad, the one that really sucks is the off topic section.
Extremely retarded threads. The weirdos there do not even have any creativity, they just create the same thread over and over again.

Maybe it's his high rating without the holier than thou posts together. I imagine it's a lot easier for anyone to take a high rated members words as helpful, rather than a average rated member who posts like he's the end all, be all of chess discussion......Whats that old saying....oh yes, those who can...do.
