You cant if u can cheat in a otb tournament and are scared of that they would never do that like few weeks ago someone cheated by going to the toilet analizing the game
Go to the FIDE arena site and see for yourself. They have ratings for online game play.
No it is not free but neither is traveling to a live tournament.
