Is it possible to deliver checkmate in 1 move?

I am not sure about it but so many people checkmate in under 10 moves. So can they in 1?
Please tell me your opinion here. But NO negatives!
2 is the minimum: 1 g4 e5 2 f4 Qh4#
Chuck Norris can checkmate in zero moves.
I have been wondering checkmate in 1 move. Is it possible for rook or Bishop or queen

Of course not. Can you even capture at least one piece from your opponent in the first move?

There are 20 legal first moves for white ( 16 pawn moves and 4 knight moves) and none of them even checks the black king.
