I think that people generally grow bored with chess when they begin to obsess over getting better. I think playing too much chess is one way to develop such obsessions. But then again it is such obsessions that can nurture the next Fischer. Some players end up bored with the game but are much too ensnared by their desire to conquer it to ever quit.
I think chess is for gamers. If you're not a gamer then you're most likely to fall into some strange traps (no pun intended).

It's possible to get bored of anything. Chess is no exception. I often find I have no real interest in my daily games sometimes.

I don't know why i am getting so much bored to chess... I am not feeling like playing it. I am not exited while playing my games. I have zero expression on my face while playing it. I want to get back my interest in chess again but I am unable... I don't know is it happening because of I watch anime or i play video games or i am losing much or winning much. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE TO GET BACK INTREST IN CHESS BACK ?
