Do you think it is generally worth it to exchange one castle and one bishop/horse for killing a queen? Or whether it is worth it or not depends on the situation?

It always depends on the position obviously, but I would exchange a rook and bishop/knight to win the queen. If there is not much left on the board the mobility of the queen should be decisive.
