Please let me tell you that you should be glad that you don´t have to face this avalanche of linguistic nonsense that we have to deal with in the German language! "Gender speaking" in German has become a monstrosity - more than 90% of the German population does not want it, yet still we are kept being pestered with this... They should focus their energies on paying women the same money for the same work - if there is something to be improved, it certainly lies in this field!
Ok so in this age , is it wrong to call a chess set chessmen ? , Or do we need to readdress , this term in today's Age , As we all know the pawn can become a Queen ?
