looks like both the CPU and the integrated graphics are low end and wont be suitable for streaming. i cant seem to find it on passmark though so ill let someone more knowledgable confirm
Is my computer good enough to stream with?

Thanks Maybe this computer was not made to stream lol

What you’ll need to do is install RAR software. This way your computer will RAR all the airwaves that try to stop it and enable you to have a stable stream.

I have a potato computer and I can stream without too many problems. You just need to lower bitrate and frames per second.

Is this your computer?

Really?! Oh dang, can you message me a link? Pleeeeeeeezzzzzz???? I will give you all of my future bits and subs (if I get any) if you provide that for me!

Lots of good prebuilt gaming rigs out there which should handle streaming just fine. HP Omen is what I prefer, anything with a GTX 1070 or better should stream with no issue at all, and of course a sufficient cpu/ram to match, though any of the big names will make sure that's good to go if you buy a rig off them with the mentioned video card.
Thx but just purchased this computer I think my mac will do fine, just gotta fix some things

Some good news. I did a test stream, and the playing experience (as far as lag goes) was functional. Still somewhat laggier than ideal, but I can live with it. My main issue was when I played it back, there was an annoying delay with the sound (when I moved the pieces) versus when I actually moved them, any suggestions on how to tweak that? Thanks!

You might try and find some general streaming message boards online and ask people there. Can also try the forums on Mac Rumors.

I just got a new computer. I was hoping it would be sufficient to stream, as I was getting laggy experiences with my previous one, but to my disappointment, it's still lagging when I attempt to stream. Here is all the info you computer nerds would know about:
P.S. I have no idea if my serial number is sensitive info or not lol. Probably does not affect this topic.
Looks to me like your computer is OK for streaming and playing. I have a 4gb laptop and I play and stream just fine but I'm using Linux not Mac.

I am THIS close to being able to make a functional stream (not a very good one, but functional). My only issue is my audio and video are not syncing properly. For example, I might say "Oh, 1... d5" (for Black) as soon as I am putting 1. d4 on the board in my video. I feel like this can be an easy fix but I don't know for sure, any input?
