That said, discussions of cheating, potential cheating, or cheat detection are not allowed in the general forums.
Hey guys, posting from a different account as I am relatively new to this platform and I brought my friend over to it also.
Backstory:
I beat my friend in person at chess multiple times, he has never beaten me, and he has played maybe 10 games in the past 10 years? Maybe out of his whole life.
So, I finally got him and a few friends to join chess.com, and both games I played against him I lost, badly. His accuracy rating for those games is 96 and 98 percent. Against my other friends, his rating is similar, but they are very bad players, entirely new to the game, so maybe short games. But still, accuracy consistently over 90 for all his games basically.
My question is this, is he cheating? I don't know enough about chess.com or how the stats work or even that much about chess itself. I just know I beat him easily in person.
Apologies if this is not allowed etc. Just I decided to review the games and he had like 17 perfect moves, Sicilian defence etc. in one game. I was complimenting him at first, but I couldn't even review his games on the app, only on browser weirdly, and when I did I realised how much of a disparity there apparently was between us, according to this website.
