maybe they don't know how to play chess.... how many games have these people played? that might indicate their intentions
Is there a competition for THE WORST PLAYER ON CHESS.COM?

I agree i think its a stupid idea, because the people who are winning, because there intentions are to lose, in a way the winner is getting an advance in points not because they won a game through skill, they are getting points because the other player is on a stipud conquest that will get nothing out of it.

Don't do something like that it will make some people feel bad and they won'T be able to advance there skills. I don't think they are bad people in chess they are only learning people. People who loses a lot get the chance to improve because they can easily learn from their mistakes. If they do then they can even beat players who have a rating of 2000 +.

Ratings are artificial constructs that only provide vague estimates of strength anyway. If someone wants to use their account to try out tenuous opening lines or tactics in a 'non-federation' setting... more power to them.
You can't really stop or arbitrate that outside of setting up a 'Tinkerer's League' or something which has a seperate rating of it's own. I doubt many people are intentionally tanking games, just using the site for exploration.

Lenny_Bongcloud has to be up there, his "unique" way of playing chess always brought a smile to my face.

Look at this player... 94% timeout. An average of 4 moves per game. Could you tell me why ??

Well, for some of us, mediocrity is legit. I say this as someone who is desperately trying to improve on his skill level, though. Please don't hate me because I'm low-rated.

Let them do what they want. You do what you want.
Don't see the big deal........
I second that... but it does seem kinda... not sure what the right word is...

Some take the high road, some the low. Some sit on the side and complain about the route others take. As for me, I click "new game" and play.

Good point...

I don't realy care if a player did 10 ou 20 blunder against me, as long as the player play the game.
What I dislike is a timeout after 3 moves at everygame.
While most of us try our very best to advance our skill, there is an entire group of chess players on this website that are doing the very opposite. They are trying to get the absolute worst rating possible. They are following in the footsteps of Lenny Bongcloud trying to get a rating of 0. Is this a joke or what? Am I wrong to think that this is a bigger problem than cheating? I’m willing to accept a rating of 1000, or even 900 ish, but anything below that and it makes me wonder.
