What rating do these players start at? Maybe this is a way to get back to 1200 :)
What would be the quickest way to get the lowest score?
Maybe finding the lowest scoring players who are trying to win, teaching them fool's mate under one username, and then offer it under the username which you hope to take to the bottom. Heck, it's a good way to teach a basic chess lesson, and keep up the spirits of the beginners. It's also quite amusing...
I'd like to point out that I have played people with ratings <900 who I thought were really trying to win, but were simply not very successful. So, I think it is unfair to lump all these people together based on low ratings. I do accept that some players may deliberately try to achieve low ratings, but let's not be unkind to less successful players.
