e4 e5 or d4 d5 aren't "openings", since generally an opening is decided after the 3rd move.

Technically they are called King’s Pawn and Queen’s Pawn Game, but @brianchesscake is correct. They aren’t technically openings yet.

The question was never "What opening is this?"

He asked for the name. Technically, they don’t have a name, but people just call it that.

  They're called :--  Move 1.
