If losing the game, is there a move that would prevent me from losing?

When in doubt, push a rook pawn.

Sneeze on the chess pieces. No one will want to touch your boogers. You might even actually win on time this way. If this fails .... Fart really loud and long.

Look for ways to get your pieces working together.

An army working together, even if smaller in number of forces can defeat a larger enemy who does not use all of their forces available in battle.

Example = If you can find a way to saddle your opponent with a bad bishop, knight on the rim, piece trapped behind its own pawns, or otherwise ensnare them, you can neutralize at least one piece to even the odds.

You might then be able to find a way to convert your advantage in activity and win before your opponent can activate their pieces.

Just some ideas to use instead of panic.

If you die you dont get a rematch and a shot at redemption. I would maybe go with dieing as plan B.
