Is this chess set too 'crowded' on this board?

Be honest guys, I can deal with it.

Yes it is! :)

Looks perfect to me....I especially like how the all too dogmatic .75/.78 ratio between K radius and square size has been shelved in favor of a more egalitarian and communal experience.

Looks fine if you like to play closed (close) positions ;)

That's the 6" budrosewood set, I got it as a gift YEARS ago.  It came from Chessbaron.com.  The king has a 2" base.  The board is 1.75" squares.

Bobby Fischer is turning like a pinwheel.

i picked the board up on a Ebay auction for 25$, I couldnt pass it up.  I think it normally sells for 139$

WAY to crowded. I would feel unconfertable playing on this setup...

Wow. More crowded than I've ever seen. Find a different(much smaller) set for this board and buy a much larger board for those pieces.

@Spirit bro, you made my day with "More crowded than i've ever seen" haha

That is one big chess set. O.O

I hired a wizard, he was the jealous type.  He was glad to bring all the pieces 'down to size'.  Something about his type not 'having a place' in a game were wizards would EASILY fit in.

I don't use the word cute much, but there's almost no other word to describe that little knight.

The Knight piece seems to be the most worked-on piece, can't... Resist... The cuteness...
