Hou Yifan has stopped playing in women tournaments.. She's the unarguably best female chess player that ever lived.. She had played against Magnus, her record stands at 0 1 -5.. Win zero drawn one and lost 5..
Judit Polgar is unarguably the best female chess player (2735 and world #8 at her peak, while Hou hasn't cracked 2700 or top 50). Hou could have gotten close at least (still might) had she wasted about 5 fewer years on playing 2300-2400s all the time, with the occasional 2500, just because they happened to be women.
