Isn’t it great and fun to do when you’re about to make Checkmate and the other person doesn’t know it and you offer a draw and they don’t accept because they don’t know you’re about to make Checkmate and then you make Checkmate

True but what if you don’t know you have cheackmate then draw, and they don’t accept and then you make cheackmate.
afaik there was once or twice i offered a draw to my opponent because i was too lazy to think in a complex position (or so i thought it was), my opponents declined and then we continued playing and i won
Or when they are running out of time and you have loads ld time left but you have less pieces and you offer a draw and they don’t accept and loose on time
