isolani and trade of minor pieces
my faith is in strategy. Maybe I'm putting much faith in general strategy and I'm bothered by having another way of playing that ignores whole books on the subject. It's as if stockfish said:
Beliavsky, Alexander & Mikhalchischin, Adrian - Isolani Strategy - Strengths and Weaknesses of the Isolated Queen's Pawn ????
bullshit! The best way to play is ....
from diagram black can play Nxd3 and after Bxe7 Qxe7 Qxd3 Black exchanged two minor pieces and controls d5. White have no counter-attack, that isolani is worst form, no bishops to kingside attack... Look:
BUT, stockfish dont care about general strategy and preffer the follow diagram:
Position after Rc8 Bb1 (saving the bishop) Qa5 Bb2 Qc7
Stockfish give -1.5 for that postion and just -0.9 for first idea exchaging pieces.
The point is: in that diagram white have two bishops.. He has the isolani in seemingly next for better form...
I dont understand if stockfi are wrong or I'm not understading right that isolani postion...
