We are discussing live chess.
What you are referring to is 'Online Chess' which, of course, is Chess.com's version of correspondance chess. Where you are allowed to use an analysis board.
It is not enough for cheaters that they can safely cheat by using a side board to move the pieces around.They also want us to believe that this is not cheating!pathetic...

Yeah, if you BOTH are actually talking about Live chess, I would say moving the pieces around is not in the correct spirit of fair play. In fact, if I found out someone was doing that, I would probably be inclined to call them a cheater.

I think this is the best attitude toward cheaters.
As calculation keeps being brought up... isn't calculation merely a crutch for people who haven't seen enough positons to know what to do without calculating it
Yeah, good players have seen 10^50 positions so they don't need to calculate.
Consequently there are no good players like that.
