It's impossible to gamble in chess !

So basically sometimes if I challenge someone chesd for $$$ , they respond we don't gamble.

In my opinion it's impossible to gamble in chess as to gamble in something you must have a big luck factor , which is to decide a winner, like poker, backgammon etc..

Of course poker had some skills , but if you have 2 and 3 I like to see you show us some skills lol 1% chance.

Any way chess is 99% skills not like poker or any other games if you have extra queen 99% you won. So my point is you can't gamble in chess , when you place a bet you eat her loose or win or draw all determined by your skills not luck.

Carlsen and Karjakin gamble too? Yeah right .... Calsen won and not by luck and he won some cash as well.

Look at definition of gambling, number one factor MUST have is LUCK , chess doesn't have luck

Of course not, he can't be lucky or unlucky. , when he lost he wasn't prepared well or he was not in his best shape , not enough sleep , rest , food,water etc, so he wasn't prepared well ,he did not produce the best moves that's why simply he lost

Like any other day you might loose to a weaker player and win every other time with the same opponent, that's just means that he was stronger then you ( making a better moves) in that particular day , he simply outplayed you , their wasn't any luck you new exactly what is going to happen everything in front of your eyes but he managed to trick you

As an outsider looking into the game though, it is still up to luck, since you cannot physically enter into the game and change how it will go. If one player is more likely to win, then the odds will obviously be in his favour and therefore the gain you get from betting on him will be minimal (at least if you bet with a company and not just against a friend). For example, Donald Trump was not supposed to win the election and before it started, the multiplier for betting on Trump to win was 5x. Towards the end, it was down to almost 1x. You can say you can't bet, but until the results are known, its still up to chance for anything if you aren't the one playing.
