Jungian Chess?

What if chess could be used to analyze a chess player's psyches?

After a collection of 100 or so games by one player, those games could be analyzed for consistences that would indicate some aspect of the psyches/mind/soul that he/she may or may not have. A horrible example is "player A tends to make a lot of pawn moves in the opening, so he/she is unsure of his/her future".

What do you think?

I think something like this was already done, the only diffrence is scientists first researched the personality of the player i.e an agressive and outgoing person might play more agressive openings.Your idea however i like alot, too bad technology isn't that far ahead yet.

I think the game GO with its huge play space and open style has proven to be able to what you are asking..
